Governor Zulum visit Monguno Barrack

 

His Excellency, The Executive Governor of Borno State, Prof. Babagana Umara Zulum mni fnse visited Monguno barracks where he was recieved by the sector 3 commonder of operation Lafiya Dole, Brigadier General GM Matkur.

The Governor stated that his visit was purposely to provide humanitarian support to the Internally Displaced Persons that are living in the town; and to assess some of the existing facilities in the town with the view to ensuring the establishment of the federal polytechnic Monguno which will takeoff soon. 

The Governor  acknowledged the support of the Nigeria military for doing their possible best. He also solicited for their support to ensure that many communities to be open expecially in the road between Maiduguri and Monguno, from Monguno to Cross, and Cross to Baga that will allow free movement of people. He urged them to re-strategise. Finally, he assured them to provide all the necessary support needed.
