SALLAH HOMAGE: Borno Acting Governor Recieves shehu of Borno, VC UNIMAID

 

~Hosts Critical Stakeholders to a Lunch

In the Euphoria of Eid Fitir Celebration and as tradition, the Borno state Acting Governor, His Excellency Hon Umar Usman Kadafur received his Eminence the Shehu of Borno, Alhaji Abubakar Ibn Garbai Almin Elkanemi at Government House Maiduguri for a sallah Homage.The Shehu was accompanied by the members of Borno Emirate Council. 

In his address, the Shehu said they were at the government house as part of tradition during festive periods to pay Homage to the Executive arm of Government.

He Commended Gov Zulum led administration for well established Cordial relationship with the Emirate and for it developmental programs in the state, assuring the governor for their support, loyalty, and prayers.

Responding, the Acting Governor thanked the royal father for the visit and Commended his Efforts in maintaining peace and Unity in state, saying the Gov Zulum led administration will continue to provide the needed leadership quality for peace and Security to reign in the state.

In a Similar event, the Acting Governor Recieved the University of Maiduguri Community led by its Vice Chancellor, Prof Aliyu Shugaba.

To mark the Eid Celebration, major stakeholders in the state were hosted for sallah Lunch by the Acting Governor where prayers were offered for the safe return of the Governor and for peace and Security to reign in the state
