Ekiti State Muslim Pilgrims Welfare Board set to refund 2020 and 2021 intending Pilgrims

 

Ekiti State Pilgrims Welfare Board, has concluded  the arrangement to refund  the pilgrims that registered for 2020 and 2021 Hajj.

The resolution becomes imperative consequent  upon the cancellation of 2020 and 2021 Hajj operation. At the Board's meeting  that was chaired by the chairman, Alhaji Abdulkarim Babatunde Onipede, it was emphasized the readiness of the Board to refund all intending Pilgrims in compliance with the NAHCON directive. 

The Board Secretary Alhaji F F Salami informed members at the meeting  the board's readiness to effect 100 percent refund of the deposit made by each intending pilgrims after securing approval from the state government. 

The Secretary used the forum to appreciate the board members and staff for their dedication and honesty in the discharge of their duties.

The Secretary Alh. Salami advised all interested pilgrims seeking for refund to apply through their respective agents  or personally for those that paid to the Board individually. He stressed that all applications should be made between Thursday  24th June, 2021 and 9th July 2021.
