Rep Gaza finally dumps PDP, joins APC

 

The member representing Karu/Keffi/Kokona Federal Constituency at the House of Representatives, Hon. Gaza Jonathan Gbefwi, has finally dumped the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and was received into the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC).

Leadership of the APC in Karu Local Government, led by the party Chairman, Hon. Gaskiya Auta, on Wednesday, received Hon. Gaza into the ruling party.

Hon Gaza said he was persuaded to leave his former party because of the desire to support the sterling leadership qualities of Nasarawa State governor, Engineer Abdullahi Sule.

The federal lawmaker added that, he joined the APC to also contribute his quota towards building the state and country at large.

Hon. Gaza was presented to the APC by the former PDP Chairman Karu Local Government, Elder Philip Iyakwari.

Receiving Gaza to the progressive family, Gaskiya Auta, noted that, "the coming of Gaza will increase the fortunes of the party in Karu Local Government and the state as a whole."
