Monthly sanitation, Borno State Ministry environment enforcement team at Monday Market

 

The Borno State Ministry of Environment Sanitation Enforcement team led by the Hon. Commissioner For Justice and the overseeing commissioner ministry of Environment Barr. Kaka Shehu Lawan,  E.S BOGIS Engr. Adam Bababe other members and security personnel.

In an interview after the exercise, Barr. Kaka shehu lawan appreciated the efforts of the various trade unions operating in the market for their support towards the success of the exercise. 

The commissioner announced the Ban on activities of the Langa-Langa Sewage drainage company as a result of an illegal sewage dumping site along the River Ngadda in  Bulabulin.The illegal activities of the company was noticed at the site last night days after  it has been cleared earlier. He also restated that, nobody is above the law and any defaulter of the environmental Law will be dealt with in  accordance with the law.

On a final note the commissioner called on the good people of Borno to always called the attention of the committee to report any illegal refuse dump or structures on water ways or drainages.
