Mantu's Death a Huge Loss to Nigeria- Governor Sule

 

Nasarawa state Governor, Engineer Abdullahi Sule has described the death of former Deputy Senate President, Alhaji Ibrahim Nasiru Mantu, as a painful and huge loss to the nation. 

This was made known in a statement issued by the governor's Chief Press Secretary, Mallam Ibrahim Addra, on Friday, in Abuja.

Governor Sule, while paying a condolence visit at the residence of the deceased former lawmaker in Abuja, described the late political titan as amiable, down to earth, a gentleman and a friend. 

As part of the visit, the governor also signed the condolence register, praying to Allah to grant the deceased rahama and protect his family.

The Nasarawa state governor was received on behalf of the family by the son of the deceased, Musa Mantu.
