Borno First Lady attends the Flagging off and the Distribution of starter kits Empowerment Programme in Borno State

The Wife of the Executive Governor of Borno state, Dr. Falmata Babagana Umara Zulum attended the event which was organised by Future assured Initiative in collaboration with the Centre for women development and hosted by the Borno state ministry of women affairs. 

While flagging off the distribution of kits, the wife of the Governor appreciated the first lady Dr. Aisha Muhammadu Buhari who is the founder of Future Assured initiative for her tireless efforts towards re-vitalisation of women in Nigeria and commended her ressilience. She also Congratulated the New DG of the Centre for women development Dr. Asabe Vilita Bashir on her appointment and immidiate take off with this project as a primary assignment to her dear State to fellow women whom she has been standing up for years. Finally she urged the beneficiaries to adequately utilise the resources for their development and benefit to their immediate communities.

The event was colourfully graced by the Hon. Commissioner for women affairs Haj. Zuwaira Gambo, women politicians, stakeholders and community elites.
